Scott always had everyone laughing. If my boys had a bad day, Scott was the one that could make them smile again. Scott’s caring and inviting personality always made the boys feel loved and welcome. They miss him incredibly and often talk of Scott stories. We were so lucky to be apart of Scott’s life, he will forever be in our hearts!

Even though I did not know Scott in person, I knew him from a million different stories from his mom and so many people who did know and love him. Scott was a loving, considerate kid, who was always thinking of others.

I have watched so many people who loved Scott try to find answers in his death. Why, how could I have made a difference, how did I fail? The sad truth is, we will never have those answers. What I DO know, is that we lost a precious life when Scott went ahead of us. I pray that we can all have mindfulness in our daily lives, and make a difference in others lives, which ends up making a difference in our own. We were put on this earth to love one another, in action and deed. Big or small, we CAN make a difference. Lets all do it in Scott's name.

It has been nearly two years since he has left this world and it affected me and my family in a way I hope no one will never understand or experience. I’m so happy that we knew Scott. The sadness we have experienced does not diminish the love we experienced with knowing him. It’s hard to pick my favorite story about this kid. We met shortly after my kids and I moved to St. Peter’s, Scott, and Trent were on the same baseball team. They clicked instantly and loved joking around and talking locker room talk. They did it just to embarrass me and they did just that! Trent and Scott both always wanted to play the same position on the team and it was not competitive to them. They were both happy for each other each time the other suited up. The younger simple times are my favorite with him. I’m honored we got to be a part of him and Angela’s life together.
